Little Robots Volume II: The State of Americana by Ra
New Haven, Connecticut –Announcing Illustrator, Ra's third iPad Art Book, "Little Robots Volume II: The State of Americana. This is a collection of satirical comic strips that analyze, critique and send up many aspects of American culture. Robots touches on politics, hip hop, education, pop culture and many more timely and relevant topics. It will be available through lulu.com on April 27th.
Little Robots also draws from personal experiences from the creator (Ra) as he deals with being an emerging artist and having a day job to support his goals. Robots was inspired by strips like Peanuts, The Boondocks and Japanese Manga. This makes for a cocktail of light fun and relevant issues ranging from Sandy Hook, The Presidential Race, Trayvon Martin, and Lance Armstrong's Drug scandal.
Ra's challenge was to take a harder look at American culture, really dissect it but keep the humor, fun and spirit of the first volume. Little Robots Volume II: The State of Americana is available as an all ages book (Black Flag Edition) and an explicit version (Old Glory Edition) to accommodate all age groups.
