To get to SVA I had to commute from New Haven to New York for four years. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I took the Metro North train into the city, I went to class and then I went home. This painting represents my journey between the two cities. The other paintings in this series have been very architectural. This one is more of a close up.
