Featured Illustration: A Woman's Place (Sheryl Sandburg)

Recently I decided to create another response to a New Yorker article. There was an interesting piece on Sheryl Sandburg. She formerly worked for Google and now works for Facebook. For the most part the article was about how she is creating a platform for women in Silicon Valley. She's a real pioneer. I wanted to integrate all of these elements into the piece. I was definitely inspired by Shepard Fairey's Obama "Hope" poster. Instead of using the same colors I used blues and whites to represent Facebook. The colors in her necklace represent Google. This one was a lot of fun. No email back from The New Yorker this time but I'll persist. :)
