Just before ArtRage @t The Grove opened I was fortunate enough to be able to have Nomad Brush sponsor the event too. They asked me to contribute a painting of my interpretation of "Siri" which is prominently featured in the iPhone 4S. I started the illustration on my iPhone 4 in Sketchbook Mobile to stay loose. Then I exported to Sketchbook Pro on the iPad using iCloud. I tightened up the sketch and came up with my finished product. I wanted to make a comparison about all of the hype surrounding Siri. The voice assistant quickly became a pop icon. I go online and see how people have all of these high expectations for what it should be. It reminds me of the expectations of a super hero.
