I really came into my own as an artist at
The School Of Visual Arts. It was a difficult and rewarding experience. My commitment to my art was really tested over those four years. I ended up commuting to Manhattan from New Haven pretty much every day for four years. Looking back I can't believe I managed to get through all of that. It helped to have support from my friends and family though. Whenever I take the train into the city I'm thankful I don't have to be on the 7:00 am one.
