I started this painting on the bus and finished it at home. I've been planning on tweaking The Reaper for a while now. I think this is the last step. He has a mouth plate that's inspired by Optimus Prime. Originally I wasn't going to give him lips but that looked a little strange. I added them in to make him look more human. He's humanoid actually. I wanted to position him as a villainous character but I don't want to make it so you couldn't relate to him. Also I didn't want the design to be too ambiguous either.
